Sterling Patron Saint Patrick Medal
- St. Patrick was captured into slavery as a teenager and held captive in Ireland for several years. While there, he spent his days in earnest prayer until he managed to escape back home to his family. At age 42, Patrick returned to Ireland where he was made Bishop, and traveled the Emerald Isle, where he converted many to Christianity and lived a life of humility until he died on March 17, AD 460.
