Jesus Christ the King Kilgarlin Laminated Prayer Card
- Description
King of Kings. Lord of Lords. Jesus Christ the King.
He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, not a warhorse. He wore a crown of thorns, not gold. Yet He reigned from a cross, not a throne.
And still, Jesus Christ is King. He is King not only of hearts and souls, but also of history and all creation. His kingdom is not of this world. However, it is more lasting than any earthly power.
This beautifully laminated Jesus Christ the King Kilgarlin Prayer Card honors Jesus Christ the King. It features a classic image on the front and a powerful prayer on the back.
Gold color accents give the card a traditional devotional finish. Carry it as a daily reminder of your faith and your allegiance to Christ the King.

Prayer to Jesus Christ the King
Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, we acknowledge Your sovereign rule over all creation.
You are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.
Reign in our hearts, our homes, our nation, and our world.
May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We consecrate ourselves to You, our King, and pledge our lives to the service of Your kingdom.
Jesus Christ the King, have mercy on us.
Amen.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this card different from the Christ the King card?
Both cards honor the kingship of Jesus Christ. However, each card features different artwork and prayer text.
For example, you can choose between the cards based on:
- The religious image
- The prayer text
- Your personal devotion
- The intended recipient
- The Catholic occasion
- Your parish or ministry needs
In addition, you can use both cards together. For instance, they can complement each other during the Feast of Christ the King.
Moreover, the cards work well for parish handouts, prayer groups, and Catholic gifts. As a result, you can select one design or share both depending on the occasion.
Ultimately, both cards offer a meaningful way to honor and reflect on Christ as King.
Can I order in bulk for my parish or ministry?
Yes. Standard packs are available in quantities up to 100 cards. For larger needs, custom printing begins at 1,000 cards, with production typically taking about five days depending on the order. Higher quantities are also available for parishes, schools, retreats, ministries, and feast-day events.

A Mission Behind Every Card
Every ShopCatholic purchase helps support a mission centered on faith, service, compassion, and giving.
ShopCatholic was founded by Shawn Kilgarlin, a wife, mother of four, mental health clinician, and life coach. Her mission goes beyond creating meaningful Catholic products.
Every Christmas Eve, Shawn donates gifts to people in need through Holy Angels. In addition, she volunteers at addiction treatment centers and offers grounding boxes and group classes.
Her children, Loyola University students, and local high school students also help prepare gift bags for families in need.
When you purchase a Kilgarlin prayer card, you become part of that mission.
