Consecration Prayer
Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Most Sweet Jesus, Redeemer of the human race, look down upon us humbly prostrate before Thine altar.
We are Thine, and Thine we wish to be; but to be more surely united with Thee, behold each one of us freely consecrates himself today to Thy Most Sacred Heart.
Many indeed have never known Thee; many too, despising Thy precepts, have rejected Thee.
Have mercy on them all, most merciful Jesus, and draw them to Thy Sacred Heart.
Be Thou King, O Lord, not only of the faithful children who have never forsaken Thee, but also of the prodigal children who have abandoned Thee.
Grant to Thy Church assurance of freedom and immunity from harm; give peace and order to all nations.
And make the earth resound from pole to pole with one cry: Praise be to the Divine Heart that wrought our salvation; to It be glory and honor forever.
Amen.

Frequently Asked Questions - Sacred Heart of Jesus Consecration Prayer Card
What is the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart?
The Enthronement of the Sacred Heart is a Catholic family devotion that honors Jesus in the home. In particular, families place an image of the Sacred Heart in a prominent location.
During the Enthronement, families may:
- Display an image of the Sacred Heart
- Gather together for prayer
- Make an act of consecration
- Dedicate their home to Jesus
- Pray for their family
- Renew their devotion to the Sacred Heart
In addition, families can renew their consecration over time. As a result, the devotion can become an ongoing part of Catholic family prayer.
Moreover, this prayer card can accompany the Enthronement ceremony. Afterward, families can keep it nearby for continued prayer and reflection.
Ultimately, the devotion encourages families to place Christ at the center of their home and daily life.
Can I order in bulk for my parish or ministry?
Yes. Standard packs are available in quantities up to 100 cards. For larger needs, custom printing starts at 1,000 cards, with production typically taking about five days depending on the order. Larger quantities work well for parishes, schools, retreats, ministries, and Sacred Heart groups.

A Mission Behind Every Card
Every ShopCatholic purchase helps support a mission centered on faith, compassion, service, and giving.
ShopCatholic was founded by Shawn Kilgarlin, a wife, mother of four, mental health clinician, and life coach. Her mission extends beyond creating meaningful Catholic products.
Every Christmas Eve, Shawn donates gifts to people in need through Holy Angels. In addition, she volunteers at addiction treatment centers and supports people through grounding boxes and group classes.
Her children, Loyola University students, and local high school students also help prepare gift bags for families in need.
When you purchase a Kilgarlin prayer card, you become part of that mission.
