Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit, beloved of my soul,
I adore You.
Enlighten me, guide me,
strengthen me, console me.
Tell me what I should do;
give me Your orders.
I promise to submit myself
to all that You desire of me,
and to accept all that You permit
to happen to me.
Let me only know Your Will.

About the Devotion
Seek the Guidance and Strength of the Holy Spirit
The Prayer to the Holy Spirit is a beautiful expression of faith, humility, and trust in God's divine guidance. Through this prayer, Catholics ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten their minds, strengthen their hearts, provide comfort during difficult moments, and help them recognize and follow God's will.
The Holy Spirit holds a central place in Catholic faith and devotion as the Third Person of the Holy Trinity. In the Sacrament of Confirmation, Catholics receive a special strengthening of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, making this prayer especially meaningful for Confirmation candidates and sponsors.
These Holy Spirit laminated prayer cards offer a convenient way to encourage daily prayer and spiritual reflection. Their compact size makes them easy to carry in a prayer book, Bible, wallet, or purse, helping keep the message of faith and surrender close at hand.
