O Lord, behold here before You a soul who exists in this world in order to allow You to exercise Your admirable Mercy and manifest it before heaven and earth. Other souls will glorify You by the fidelity and constancy with which they will serve You. I will glorify You by letting You know that You are good to the sinner, merciful to the miserable, and that Your love goes in search of the straying soul. O Lord, I know that for the sake of a sinner like me, You will not work the miracles that You work for innocent souls. But I ask You for the grace of Your mercy, which You have promised to all who ask for it. Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me. Amen.
